I was working in a metallurgical lab and I was tired of holding onto small samples that needed to be ground to an exact size. I designed this simple holder for use in the polishing machine. I used my drawer slide CNC machine to cut it out of acrylic. I worked perfectly, and saved my fingertips from being ground off.
