CNC Router Build

Hi Im joe, im a designer working in calgary designing packaging, I just moved here from the UK where for the last 5 years since university i have been designing and machining custom flight cases and protective foam inserts.
back in england i was in the right place at the right time when a friend who was working at a school was throwing out an ELU 860 to make space for their new laser cutter,
The story Goes that only one person was ever trained on the machine and after he left the school, it has sat unused in the school for quite a few years
From what i can see this machine has had minimal usage,
Im rebuilding an elu 860 for my personnel hobby use, and hopefully make a little cash!!
My plan is to strip out all existing electronics and motors and spindle and replace them with new equivalents……………..this is my progress so far,
If anyone has any questions ill try my best to answer them, ive worked on CNC routers for the past 5 years but ive never tried to build one, so any advice anyone can offer me would be greatly appreciated.
